Large Manufacturerer & Distributor in the industrial and consumer products industry who is looking for a  Maintenance & Utility Manager and a Safety Engineer  to add to their teams in Georgia.
This is a 1/2 Billion Dollar company that has over 500 employees throughout multiple locations.
 
JOB SUMMARY:
The  Maintenance & utility Manager  will have oversight in  Mechanical, Electrical and Utility Services for mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, reliability engineering, and utilities management at Mulitple sites. The position has the responsibility to manage through its direct reports (4) the engineering activities at all sites and as requested for other company needs.   The position should develop a customer focused culture of discipline, attention-to-detail, and, teamwork that creates value through effective design and operation of the assets of the company.
The focus of this position is to produce measurable results in
Environmental/Health/Safety, Quality and Financial performance (cost and asset management).  Also, an important facet of this position is to develop people who are capable of advancing either technically or managerially in the organization
 
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical preferred) from an accredited school 10 years experience in project, process management and supervision
Experience in Process Safety Management environment
Experience in Maintenance Management, including TPM
The Safety Engineer will be responsible for directing all aspects of the sites contractor safety program, emergency preparedness plan, security program, and new employee orientation program. The position also provides key support for risk reduction activities (e.g., Process Hazard Analysis
[PHA], Job Safety Analysis [JSA], Risk Assessments [including Zurich Risk Assessments], Start-Up Safety Audits, and Management of Change [MoC], and other internal inspections and audits).  Additionally, the Safety Engineer
is actively involved in the plant's incident investigation process and supports the sites goal to achieve OHSAS 18001 certification.  The Safety Engineer is the EHSQ Department's primary resource in reviewing/developing equipment standards (e.g., dust collectors, bucket elevators).  The
position also plays a broader role as a member of the company's
Corporate
EHSQ team and may be called upon to support Corporate initiatives or initiatives at other facilities
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
CSP Certification is MANDATORY
Advanced fire fighting knowledge
Behavioral based safety
3 - 7 years experience in occupational safety/fire protection
Thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards (e.g.,
OSHA,
NFPA, Homeland Security).
